Antler Rabbit by Raymond Tsalate

An adorable cream and gray colored antler rabbit with pen shell inlaid eyes and pink Japanese coral inlaid nose carved by Ray Tsalate. Ray put the porous golden ocher and brownish black spotted bone marrow area on the sides of the rabbit's body. There are buckskin inlaid ears and tail. The Zuni believe the rabbit represents virtue, serenity, quiet talent and restraint. The rabbit also symbolizes fertility, luck, and creativity. Often associated with springtime and new beginnings, these happy critters are a reminder that life is full of possibility.
