The Sony UP-X899MD is an A6 monochrome hybrid (analogue and digital) graphic printer which allows for medical professionals to produce high-quality hard copies of ultrasound scans. With a light and compact design, the hybrid is made to accept analogue video as well as PC-friendly digital USB signal inputs. The high quality thermal print engine can produce hard copy prints of still images captured by multiple medical applications for use in patient records. For even greater convenience, printed still images can also be stored to a connected USB flash drive.
