Buttercream Basics - Lambeth Cake Class - 6th June

Join us for a fun and creative evening at our Buttercream Basics Cake Class, where you will learn how to create your own beautiful Lambeth style cake from start to finish. Perfect for beginners, hobby bakers and even professionals wanting to refine their buttercream skills, this class is designed to be relaxed, easygoing and packed with techniques you can use again and again at home. Your sponge cakes will be freshly pre baked and ready for decorating, allowing us to focus on learning and creating together throughout the evening. During the class, you will learn: • How to layer and level a cake • Crumb coating techniques • How to achieve a smooth buttercream finish • Buttercream consistency and colouring • Piping techniques for Lambeth style decoration • How to create a custom fondant letter plaque • Decorating and styling your cake in your own chosen colours Everything is included in the class, including all tools, materials, refreshments and your finished cake to take home. The class takes place in our beautiful Sweet Stamp classroom in Celbridge, County Kildare, where we will guide you step by step in a friendly and welcoming environment.
