GARAGISTIC KNURLED ALUMINUM SHIFT KNOB Description The Garagistic Knurled Aluminum Shift Knob provides a non-slip option for the performance driver who can't afford to miss his shift. Made in-house here in sunny Southern California, these knurled aluminum shift knobs offer a weighted throw for improved feel and control with unmatched quality. Our knobs are designed to attach without the use of set screw setups to hold them in place. This is a direct replacement to OEM knobs using our threaded adapter (included) that allows you to install this shift knob like a factory knob clip setup. We took the time to develop our very own clip system that mimics the OEM BMW shift knob clip system. That means a clean-looking interior with no set screws or nightmarish press fits. They're available in raw aluminum or anodized black with a machined recess allowing you to run a shifter emblem, or keep it clean with a bare filler cap. With our knobs, there is no need to cut, drill, or modify your factory shift lever for installation. Please note that for BMWs with integrated shift boots, modifications will be required. Installation Difficulty is very BASIC (little to no tools!). You will be required to remove your original shift knob in order to install this shift knob. Removal of the original knob is done by pulling up on the knob with high force without hitting yourself in the face.
