Advanced First Aid

Designed for students who need more training than Basic First Aid, but do not need the full scope of Emergency Medical Response. This 17-hour course is a strong fit for corporate emergency response teams, workplace safety teams, remote worksites, supervisors, and individuals who may need to respond to common illnesses and injuries before professional responders arrive. Students will build a deeper understanding of emergency care, patient assessment, responder safety, medical emergencies, trauma care, and multiple-casualty response.
