Date: Fridays 7th and 14th August 2026 Time: 10am – 2:30pm (9:30am setup) This bag has multiple pockets and drapes over an arm rest to keep your projects organised and close at hand. It is ideal for camping or sporting events where you use a camp chair or in your home or office. It can be attached to a walker or rollator or the wide handle of a pram. Focus of this workshop: Working with zippers and finishing techniques. Possibility of using cork and vinyl for pouches. Level of skill required for this workshop: Suitable for intermediate and experienced quilters wanting to explore bag making. This workshop will develop the following skills: • Placing zippers and finishing their placement as a feature of a pouch. • Cutting fabric accurately using a rotary cutter, ruler and mat • Straight line quilting and handling mesh to create pockets • Setting up your machine for piecing fabric • Applying interfacing and pressing interfaced fabric.
