The small Ctenanthe genus can be found across tropical Central and South America. Blue-green leaves, with purple undersides, of Ctenanthe setosa 'Silver Star’ sit atop long slim deep purple stems. WATERING In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%. LIGHT REQUIREMENTS Indirect, shade tolerant. FEED Use a houseplant fertiliser every 3-4 weeks during the growing season (April - September). REPOTTING Repot every 2-3 years using a houseplant compost or when roots appear from the bottom of the nursery container. POT SIZE / HEIGHT See available sizes below.
