Corvette C8 Kite Earrings

These distinctive earrings are crafted from the metal of a Chevrolet Corvette C8 finished in Sebring Orange — a vibrant, high-impact orange that captures the energy and performance of America's mid-engine sports car. Using waterjet technology, we cut kite-shaped pieces from the original Corvette panel. Each piece is then carefully sanded and hand-finished until it achieves the perfect shape and fit within its custom frame. Corvette body panels are made from lightweight composite materials rather than traditional steel or aluminum. These materials present unique challenges when repurposed into jewelry, as they cannot be bent or formed without risking damage to the original finish. Through extensive experimentation, we've developed proprietary techniques that transform these automotive composites into wearable art while preserving the factory-applied Sebring Orange paint and finish. To ensure both beauty and durability, the Corvette metal is secured within the setting using traditional prongs and hand-wrapped sterling silver wire.
