Wagner Ware Hammered Aluminum Round Roaster #8 with Lid 3248

Vintage Wagner Ware hammered aluminum Dutch oven. The underside is marked with the stylized logo and 3248 R. The lid has the roundered self-basting drippers and SR C on the underside as well as the cast on handle. This is the #8 size, this was also made in a #9 size. Measures 10.25" across and 4" deep. It probably dates to the 1940's. The lid does have the spout covers typical for skillet lids, but it does seem to be the correct lid for this base. No trivet. Vintage find, please see photos. In very nice condition overall. No cracks, chips or damage. One card wobble,does spin. May not be suitable for glass top stoves. Some utensil marks and flea bites on cooking surface but ready to cook many more delicious meals!
