Sarcococca ruscifolia Dragon Gate (AGM) A lovely compact evergreen shrub with dark glossy leaves and small white very fragrant flowers in late winter followed by red berries in summer. An adapatable plant that is easy to grow, low maintenance and thrives in shady areas that can be tricky to plant! It is an ideal choice to plant at the front of a shrub border (preferably near to a path so you can enjoy the perfume in winter), underplanting taller growing shrubs or in pots to provide structure and year-round interest in the garden. Grow in moist, moderately fertile, humus rich soil. Water well until established and lightly trim after flowering to desired shape.
