The facility that makes these knits is one of the last ones in the world to maintain and keep these looms in working order. 4-Needle looms are special machines that are able to knit a perfect tube, but they can only knit a set diameter. In other words, one loom for each size is required, and this is why you hardly ever see tubular construction in modern-day garments. Because this is a vintage reproduction, the fit is inspired by an American vintage sweatshirt. Other notable features include a cover-stitched self-fabric crew-neckband, double-layer V-Insert on the front and back neck, and longer ribbed cuff and waistband and set-in-sleeve.
