Bringing Healing to Others through the Shamanic Journey Sun, June 28 from 9:30 am to 2pm Instructor: Karin Cole $90. Class limited to the first 10 registrants Prerequisite: Learn How to Journey Workshop Level 1 & 2 Shamanism has long been used throughout history to bring healing and insight to humans, animals, and the land. In this course, we will learn how to journey for the healing and benefit of others, and the strategies, skills, and ethics for doing so. About the Instructor: KARIN COLE- SHAMANIC PRACTIONER AND TEACHER Karin is a Shamanic practitioner, Certified Professional Coach, and a licensed massage therapist. She began studying shamanism under the direction of Dr. Cecile Carson in 2009 and after several years of training, completed an apprenticeship and became an elder in the community. She is the owner of Monarch Integrative Care, LLC in Brighton, NY and has been with the Palliative Care Team at the University of Rochester Medical Center for over twenty years. She is a level two Reiki practitioner, trained in Therapeutic Touch, is certified in Somatic Therapy for trauma, and is a grief specialist. She has also taught continuing education in Rochester, Syracuse, and Manhattan, NY. Karin attends to each individual client with compassion and kindness, helping to identify goals, facilitate healing, wellness, self-exploration, and spiritual growth. Scheduling/Cancellation/Refund Policy: As a small education center, The Purple Door and our instructors rely on the registration process. If the minimum number of registrations is not met, the class will be cancelled/rescheduled and refunds provided. There are no refunds for registrant cancellations within 48 hours of class time; or for no-shows.
