After you pass the Level 1 student test you will be listed on our website as an official training group leader. What Is the Cane and Knife Self-Defense Course? The Cane and Knife For The Street program consists of all the basics you need, along with functional training in each of the 12 scenarios. Of course, the legal ramifications of employing a knife are also covered. Who is eligible? You can become a group leader as soon as you've passed the Level 1 student test. This is a great way to get more training partners so you can get to instructor level faster. Your name is on all certificates. Your students cannot bypass you to train directly with us without your consent. Teaching has never been easier. We have done all the work for you! What you will teach is organized and easily accessible on the videos, including techniques,training methods and drills. You can start teaching our program for only $59/month! Your name will appear on the certificates as test administrator. Once you are a certified instructor in the module, you will not need to send us videos any more. You will retain a portion of the testing fee your students pay and send us only a certificate fee. You will be listed as Instructor on the certificates. VIDEO TESTING Video testing is easy! Video tape your student using any camera even your phone’s camera, and upload it to youtube as an "unlisted" video. Once you are an instructor, you do not need to submit the videos when testing your students. YOUTUBE.COM UPLOAD: 1: Upload the video to your youtube account. Youtube offers 3 options: public, unlisted, private. Make sure to select "UNLISTED". Do NOT ever make the video public on youtube as our testing procedure is copyrighted. Name the file like this: LastName_FirstName_Belt ? Level ? Test_Cane_and_Knife_FTS_month day year. For example, if Joe Smith is taking the test for Level 1 and sending us the test on January 1st, 2017, the file name would be: Smith_Joe_Level 1_Cane_and_Knife_FTS_01-01-2017 2: Pay for the test and include the link to the video in the NOTE field when you checkout. After we review the test, you will receive a written evaluation with feedback and the digital file of your signed certificate via e-mail.
