The last drop of sunset dazzled the world with rich colour and gently mesmerizing reflections and I just took it all in, knowing it would become a painting. Whiskey is one of my favourite islands, with a beautiful (off limits) beach tucked away and a fascinating history during prohibition, giving it its name. I love to watch the reflections of its diverse trees, when the water is just calm enough, on this beautiful spot of Lake of the Woods.
