Incredible opportunity to own this wonderful scale model of the U.S.S. Newport News CA 148. Built locally by an enthusiast and sailed on Westport Lake, this stunning piece of craftmanship is now looking for a new captain! Dimensions are: Length 64" Width 11" Height 21" (Including stand) The remote control functions are untested due to batteries missing and is therefore sold as project for someone to get back up an running or purely as a display piece. Testing is welcome if you bring batteries, there is a remote control with the boat. Also included is a wooden base and stand. One of the original plans, drawn up by G.H Davis is supplied.
