In this hour long workshop, you will learn how to use your breath to get to your nervous system's optimal baseline—as well as learn ways to return to said baseline, repeatedly. Join us for an evening of deeply restorative hour of skilled rest. Breathing for Relaxation & Restoration with Nicky Bienstock Sunday, June 28th 6:00-7:00 pm at Boketto 106 N Vine Street (The Fan) 23223 Space is limited to 8 This workshop will largely take place laying down, so be sure to bring a mat, any props you might need like pillows or bolsters, and a blanket to stay warm. Anything you need to be as comfortable as you need is welcome. Wear cozy clothing and arrive a bit early to set settled ahead of time. MEET NICKY Nicky Bienstock is a somatic breath & bodyworker with nearly 15 years of experience teaching people how to heal. They specialize in chronic pain, chronic illness, and trauma. Their educational background is in integrative neuroscience and they are additionally trained as a yoga teacher, restorative yoga teacher, and reiki master trainings.
