R8R-LT - TRR8 Light Rail (NOT Compatible with R8)

We will not provide full refunds if you mistakenly order this rail for a model it is not compatible with. We may eventually work on an R8 design but do not have an ETA and will not respond to inquiries asking about the status of one. The R8R-LT is a streamlined light adapter made specifically for S&W TRR8’s. This adapter allows the light to mount much closer to the trigger guard making controls much quicker and easier to TOGGLE via the user’s off-hand. Pairs perfectly with our R8R RMR footprint optic mount. The R8R-LT is precision machined from 7075 T6 Aluminum and Type III Hardcoat Anodized for superior durability. THIS LIGHT MOUNT IS DESIGNED FOR AND ONLY DESIGNED FOR TOGGLING CONSTANT ON/OFF FUNCTIONALITY OF A LIGHT. NEVER PUT ANY PART OF YOUR BODY IN LINE WITH OR AROUND THE CYLINDER GAP WHEN FIRING ANY REVOLVER. If you keep this or the OEM rail installed you will likely never see it as it will be underneath the rail. This issue occurs regardless of what bottom rail you decide to use, but in testing we have found finish wear to be reduced when using our aluminum rail versus the steel factory rails.
