Ginger Soy Chicken Lettuce Wraps For this recipe we take our caramelized ginger soy chicken recipe and use it to create these lettuce wraps. In the original recipe, we serve our caramelized ginger soy chicken over rice but in this recipe we take out the rice and serve the chicken tucked into a lettuce wrap with additional toppings including bean sprouts, cucumber, herbs and serve the wraps with a couple different Wozz! dipping sauces; our peanut sauce and sweet chili orange sesame sauce. Ginger Soy Chicken Ingredients: 2 lb Boneless Chicken Thighs (dice into large pieces - approximately 2 inch pieces) 1.5 Tbsp Fish Sauce 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce 3 Tbsp Vegetable oil, (avocado, coconut, grape seed oil) 1 cup Wozz! Ginger Soy Sauce Lettuce Wrap Ingredients Bibb Lettuce Leaves Microgreens Bean Sprouts Spring Onions Cilantro Leaves Cucumber Thinly Shredded Cabbage (optional) *you can use whichever salad ingredients you prefer - thinly sliced peppers, onion, fresh basil, Thai basil, a creamy coleslaw, whatever sounds good to you to serve in your lettuce wraps Additional Dipping Sauces Wozz! Cambodian Coconut Peanut Sauce Wozz! Sweet Chili Orange Sesame Sauce Recipe: Marinate Your Chicken Marinate the chicken in the fish sauce and soy sauce. You could marinate longer or overnight but it's not necessary. Prepare Your Lettuce Wrap Ingredients Add bibb lettuce leaves to a platter along with matchstick or thinly cut cucumber, sliced green onions, bean sprouts, microgreens, herbs and whatever additional veggies you desire. You can also add your additional Wozz! dipping sauces to the table. Braise Your Chicken Heat the oil in a thick-bottom pan on medium heat, add the chicken and cook just enough to change the color of the chicken from pink to white all over. We don't want to brown the chicken or cook it through. Add the Wozz! Ginger Soy Infusion Sauce and bring to a simmer. We want to cook, continuously folding the chicken through as the sauce reduces and thickens to a nice caramelization. Depending on your pan size and stove heat, this should take 10-12 minutes. Serve Add your caramelized ginger soy chicken to a serving bowl and serve alongside lettuce wrap ingredients and dipping sauces. Everyone at the table can make their own wraps as they choose. Enjoy! *you can also serve our caramelized ginger soy chicken in Asian tacos, pita wraps or serve with a crunchy creamy coleslaw.
