Wolfburn 2019 Fathers Day Release Single Sherry Cask #87 56.9% ABV Nose: Sherry sweetness is followed by demerara sugar and heather honey, with hints of apple blossom. Palate: Dried fruit prevails with apple, pear and gooseberries all present. Sweet on the palate, honey and butterscotch give way to light spices including cloves and cinnamon. There’s a beautiful rich creaminess; a huge depth of flavour. Finish: The finish lingers longer than expected, with the honey and sherry notes fading at the very end. A truly lovely dram.
