The Kilner Set of 4 Fermenting Accessories includes 2x Kilner fermentation lids and 2x glass weights and are designed to be used with Kilner 0.25L, 0.5L and 1L Kilner preserve jars.Fermented food such as sauerkraut, kimchi and pickles, is packed with vitamins, minerals and probiotic cultures and is straightforward to make by adding water and salt to your favourite vegetables. Each fermentation lid has a silicone valve which releases the gas which builds up during the fermentation process without letting atmospheric air enter the jar which can cause the contents to spoil.
