The Weaver O gauge three-rail Baldwin Sharknose is a highly sought-after, near scale model representing the iconic, aggressive-looking diesels designed by Baldwin. Weaver Models produced these in sturdy ABS plastic. (Trains.com) The Weaver O gauge ABS Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) Sharknose in Brunswick Green (also known as Dark Green Locomotive Enamel or DGLE) is a classic semi-scale release. While Weaver famously produced highly precise, high-end brass versions of the PRR BP-20 Sharknose, their ABS versions were built as part of their more accessible, durable line. Identification and DetailsThe Paint Scheme: This model is finished in the prototypical PRR Brunswick Green—a green so dark it often looks black except under direct light—and features the classic 5-stripe gold lettering scheme.
