OOLONG TEA: Oriental Beauty, Taiwan
Oriental Beauty Oolong tea, Taiwan Flavour: sweet, muscatel, malty, creamy One of the most famous oolongs in the world, Oriental Beauty is produced using the clever, natural technique of allowing tiny leaf hopper insects to nibble on the leaves before harvest. This initiates a defensive chemical change inside the leaf that produces its distinctive sweet, muscatel flavour. Oriental Beauty is sometimes known as White Tip Oolong or Champagne Oolong. Both soothing and invigorating, these leaves infuse into a golden liquor with captivating brown sugar, malt, cream and muscatel notes. July 2025 harvest.
