This cross combines the striking, silvery-white underside of the leaf (derived from the princeps) with the stiffer, more compact fan leaves and excellent wind resistance of the wagnerianus. This princeps x wagnerianus is more special than the wagnerianus x princeps. First name is the mother plant and there are not many princeps mother plants yet to produce hybrid seeds.
