Roy Adzak “Ikon” – Mixed Media (1960)

Original mixed media work by British artist Roy Adzak (1927–1987), titled Ikon and signed and dated 1960. The work is executed in mixed media and presented in a painted wooden frame behind glass. Roy Adzak (born Royston Wright) was a British artist who worked in sculpture, photography, painting and printmaking. He settled in Paris in the early 1960s and developed an international career. His work is represented in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, and Tate, London.
