2022 Chablis, Fourchaume, 1er Cru, Le Domaine d'Henri, Burgundy

The Laroche family have extensive holdings in Fourchaume (with organic certification from 2022). This, their calling card, is a blend of parcels, mostly from L’Homme Mort. It has a spicy nose with lavender, toast and iodine notes. The palate is creamy, seductive and caressing, with a cashmere texture and a long, floral finish. It’s an elegant and come-hither Chablis.
