Arafura Haze

Trio for flute, viola and harp c.20'00 I was fortunate, in the 1990's, to travel to the Northern Territory, touring with Elektra String Quartet several times. Later, I was also invited to work with the Arafura Collective. During those travels, I spent a lot of time wandering along the coast; gazing, and breathing the Arafura Sea and the light - especially mornings and dusk - a very different Australia to what I was familiar with. I was fortunate to be able to witness its changing colours, moods, and hints of other worlds beyond the horizon...
