Marimekko Kurre Plate

The squirrel at the heart of Aino-Maija Metsola's Kurre print steps off the fabric and becomes the object itself. Where her Nordic forest tales usually arrive as brush-and-ink illustration, here the character is sculpted in relief, with ears, paws and that generous curling tail pressed into the surface of the dish.
