This collection features exquisite, luxurious fabrics originally reserved for our bespoke projects in Japan. Following the completion of these custom works, a small, exclusive surplus remained. Guided by the spirit of Mottainai—the traditional practice of honoring every material—we have repurposed these beautiful textiles so they may be appreciated once again, offering more people the chance to cherish their craftsmanship and comfort. About the Ojami Cushion The Ojami Cushion is our original creation—an iconic kangu inspired by otedama, a traditional Japanese beanbag toy. Originally designed for floor seating, it offers gentle posture support with a unique balance of firmness and resilience. Today, it is also loved as a back cushion, adding extra comfort to sofas and chairs. Unlike typical soft cushions, Ojami gently lifts your hips, helping you sit comfortably in agura (cross-legged) or seiza (kneeling) with natural alignment. It also works beautifully on sofas or chairs—simply place it behind your back to find your “just right” position. Enjoy deeper comfort, kutsurogi (relaxation), and subtle posture support.
