Bust of charioteer from Delphi, Greek replica, Alabaster plaster
The Charioteer of Delphi is one of the most famous surviving Greek bronzes from the Severe style (478-474 BC). The statue shows a young chariot racer after the race, still with the reins around his fingers and the victory band on his head. The original survived an earthquake and is now in the Archaeological Museum of Delphi.This replica is made in Germany and has a light patina that mimics the original bronze shine.
