Vinca Minor Blue Blue Periwinkle

Vinca minor Blue, or Blue Periwinkle, is a fast-spreading perennial groundcover plant that loves the shade. It produces a profusion of pretty, blue/purple periwinkle flowers in spring that appear above the dense, low carpet of glossy, dark green foliage. Blue Periwinkle is a hardy ground cover that continually spreads and, as the arching stems make contact with the soil, they set roots, so best to ensure that the plant is confined to an area. Soil: Adaptable to most soil types. Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Frost, cold and coastal hardy. Size: Height 0.5m x width 1.5m
