SEA GLASS Hand Dyed on Feather Fingering - Splashed & Speckled Yarn

There's something so mysterious and wonderful about the soft blues and greens of sea glass. This colorway was inspired by that "gift from the sea." The colors include soft spring greens, light blue, and aqua. I dyed this yarn using my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein has the same colors but with different placement. YARN BASE I used Feather Fingering as the yarn base. Feather Fingering is made of 85% extra-fine non-superwash merino wool and 15% silk. It's a 2-ply yarn with a lot of yardage. It's great for sweaters, shawls, hats, and more. Just be aware that it should be hand-washed in cold water so it doesn't felt. On the other hand, it's great for weavers and others who want to full their cloth.
