Each packet provides enough color for approximately one cake or one dozen cupcakes or cookies. For dry recipes, blend the color powder with the dry ingredients before adding liquid. For prepared frosting, mix the powder directly into the frosting. For easier blending, you can first combine approximately 1¼ teaspoons of color powder with ¼ teaspoon of water to form a paste.
