The Magnetic Receptive Wall Paint – Grey, Water-Based is designed to convert suitable indoor wall areas into magnet-receptive surfaces for everyday organisation, planning and display. Once properly applied, the coated wall can be used with compatible magnets to display photos, notes, reminders, magnetic planners, cards and lightweight decorative items without requiring a conventional magnetic board. The current LifeKrafts product is available in a 5-litre pack and is intended to be applied in multiple coats for improved magnetic responsiveness. After the magnetic coating has dried completely, a compatible decorative finish coat may be applied where required, allowing the functional magnetic layer to sit beneath the visible wall finish. Apply multiple even coats, allowing appropriate drying between coats. After the magnetic layer has cured sufficiently, apply a compatible decorative topcoat if desired. For best results, test the intended magnets on a small completed area before finishing the entire wall. Important: Magnetic holding performance depends on the number and thickness of paint coats, type of magnet, wall preparation, topcoat thickness and weight of the displayed item.
