This is a very rare and hard to find made in Japan Fender TLCL-120 Telecaster Classic that plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of a quilted maple laminated top, mahogany body, and a "C" shape maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. The electronics include a single volume knob and a Mike Christian Piezo pickup. This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches and light scuffs throughout the body with additional scratches along the back of the neck and minor dings on the headstock. The hardware also shows normal tarnishing and the binding around the body has also yellowed from over time. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should. The volume knob and a few of the electronics cover screws have been replaced. There also appears to have been different tuners on the guitar at one point in time but the current Gotoh tuners appear to be the originals. This guitar has been freshly set up with D'Addario EJ32 Classical Ball End Folk Nylon .028-.045 gauge strings. Includes the pictured gig bag.
