If necessary, apply mild liquid detergent sparingly. Regularly apply food-safe mineral oil or wood conditioner to preserve the wood's natural shine and prevent drying. Keep away from heat sources like stoves to prevent the wood from warping. Ensure knives are clean and dry before storing to prevent mold and stains. Avoid submerging the block in water to prevent swelling and splitting. Never wash in the dishwasher or under running water to maintain magnetic hold and prevent damage.
