Amaltheus Ammonite Multi-Piece Fossil – 5 Ammonites – Robin Hood’s Bay

A professionally prepared multi-piece Jurassic fossil featuring five Amaltheus ammonites in total, including one larger ammonite with four smaller examples washed up around the surrounding matrix. The piece also features a partial ammonite shell, partial belemnite and fossilised wood, making this a really varied and interesting specimen. Collected from Robin Hood’s Bay, this Middle Lias fossil dates back around 190 million years and has been professionally prepared to bring out the fossils within the matrix.
