North Vietnamese Army ChiCom Early AK47 Chest Rig

This is a very rare, first or second year of production, Chinese Communist made, chestpouch magazine pouch for the Type 56 AK47 Assault Rifle adopted the year before this pouch was made. This is the earliest ChiCom AK chestpouch we have ever seen. The side pockets hold a cleaning kit, ammunition and an oiler. Heavy weight, loosely woven, khaki cotton body with web straps and edging.
