Trovelore Aphrodisium Beetle Embellished Pin

The Aphrodisium beetle (Aphrodisium cantori), found in Southeast Asia, stuns with its iridescent green-gold elytra and elongated body, reaching up to 4.5 cm. A type of longhorn beetle, its vivid hues shift with light, a result of microscopic surface structures-not pigments. Its striking form has inspired lacquerware motifs in parts of Vietnam and southern China.
