Penstemon ovatus <br>BROAD-LEAVED EGGLEAF BEARDTONGUE

The broad-leaved penstemon or egg-leaf beardtongue is a perennial flowering plant native to the Pacific Northwest. The plants for clumps, producing flowers that are blue or purple and tubular from May through August. They are natively found in Washington, Oregon, and southwestern British Columbia, and thrive in open woods and west-side forests. Attracts bumblebees, bees, flies, wasps, and hummingbirds. Exhibits good resistance to deer and pests like verticillium wilt.
