NH71 Skeleton Automatic Movement
The Seiko NH71 is the gold-bridged member of the NH skeleton family. Manufactured by TMI (Time Module Inc.), a subsidiary of Seiko Instruments, the NH71 features open-worked bridges finished in gold plating that read warm and bright through a skeleton dial. Where the NH70 shows natural silver bridges and the NH72 goes dark, the NH71 sits between them — the gold catches light across the open-worked architecture rather than relying on contrast. Same proven platform underneath: 21,600 bph, 24 jewels, 41-hour power reserve, hacking, and hand-winding. Specifications Specification Detail Caliber Seiko NH71A Type Automatic Skeleton Frequency 21,600 bph (6 beats per second) Jewels 24 Power Reserve 41 hours Hacking Yes Hand-Winding Yes Date No Skeleton Yes (open-worked bridges) Bridge Finish Gold-plated Stem Position 3 o’clock Rotor Bidirectional Compatibility The NH71 fits every Nomods case: Royal Oak 37 mm, Royal Oak 41 mm, Petrichor, and Seikonaut. As with all skeleton movements, it needs a skeleton dial — one with cutouts or transparent sections — to show the open-worked bridges. Pairing it with a solid dial hides the architecture completely. The gold bridges pair naturally with gold and rose gold cases for a tonal build, and against silver or black cases they become the warm focal point of the dial. Dial sizes: 28.5 mm skeleton dials for the Royal Oak 37 mm and Petrichor cases · 30.8 mm skeleton dials for the Royal Oak 41 mm and Seikonaut cases.
