Every cylinder is clear but never plain. A bark-like texture runs the length of each tube, so light does not pass straight through: it catches on every ridge, breaks into bright points and travels down the glass like water over ice. The result is crisp, sparkling light — brighter and livelier than frosted glass, with the texture keeping the bulbs themselves out of focus. At 27.6″ across and 23.6″ tall, it is a dining-room and entry-hall size: wide enough to hold a table on its own, tall enough that the tiers read as a cascade rather than a flat disc. Switched off The clear tubes read like icicles against the ceiling, catching the window and the room around them. Nothing about it looks heavy — in daylight it is almost more reflection than object. Switched on Light runs down every cylinder and breaks on the texture, so the chandelier throws bright points across the table and a soft shimmer onto the ceiling. Livelier than frosted glass, and made for rooms that should feel a little celebratory. Bulbs, and dimming The fixture takes E12 or E14 bulbs, 40W maximum each. Because the glass is clear, the bulb matters more: a frosted or opal-finish LED around 2700K keeps the sparkle warm and the bulbs out of sight, while bare, bright bulbs turn it into glare. Want it dimmable? Buy bulbs printed “dimmable” on the box — most budget E12 LEDs are not. Use an LED-rated wall dimmer. An old dimmer built for incandescent bulbs is the usual cause of flicker and buzz. Or skip the wiring. E12/E14 smart bulbs dim from an app with the wall switch left on. Choose frosted-finish bulbs. Clear glass shows the bulb shape; an opal or frosted LED keeps the sparkle without the glare. Check the box rating first Seventy pieces of glass make this a heavy fixture. Your electrician should confirm the ceiling junction box and bracket are rated for the weight before anything goes up. Kill the circuit At the breaker, not just the wall switch. Set the chain Remove or add links until the bottom of the glass sits where you want it, then fix the bracket. Wire it in Live, neutral and ground, then lift the canopy up tight to the ceiling. Glass last Hang the cylinders row by row once the frame is secure, working from the top tier down, then fit the bulbs. A chain-hung fixture is the easy case: the chain hangs plumb on its own, so the chandelier stays level however steep the ceiling is. It needs a sloped-ceiling adapter at the canopy, which we supply on request. Measure the drop from the lowest edge of the canopy, not the peak.
