RO gold / arch drop

RO takes its name from the Japanese character for dew. Evolving from YOTSUYU “night dew”, RO explores the way clear forms, light, and movement can change with even the smallest shift. This arch drop begins with a sculptural climber-style stud and a detachable drop formed from two contrasting chains, each with a different texture and softness. The chains pass through a slide ball and naturally fall in different ways. Gently pull the chain toward either side to change the balance: keep the fall even, shift it asymmetrically, or let the two chains cascade at different lengths. Because the balance is not fixed, even a small adjustment changes the silhouette and movement of the piece. Remove the entire drop and the design returns to a simple climber-style stud, giving you a quieter way to wear it whenever you like. *sold as a single earring, not a pair
