Tikkurila Otex Akva is a high-opacity, water-based adhesion primer formulated to deliver excellent bonding on a wide range of challenging substrates. It dries quickly to form a reliable base for both water- and solvent-based topcoats, ensuring long-lasting finish quality and durability. Ideal for priming both new and previously painted surfaces, Otex Akva adheres effectively to difficult materials such as glass, tiles, melamine, PVC plastic, aluminium, and zinc-coated metal, as well as surfaces previously treated with alkyd or acid-curing paints. It is equally suitable for use on wood, fibreboard, and chipboard, making it a versatile choice for interior preparation work across various surface types.
