Portable Carbon Dioxide Analyzer – Trace, Percent & Purity CO₂ The CO2-740 Portable Carbon Dioxide Analyzer combines a rugged portable design with Southland Sensing’s precision NDIR carbon dioxide sensor technology. The result is a highly reliable, cost-effective analyzer designed for accurate CO₂ measurement in field, laboratory and industrial applications. The CO2-740 is available with measurement ranges from 0–1,000 ppm through 0–100% CO₂, including high-purity ranges of 50–100%, 70–100%, 80–100% and 90–100% CO₂. Multiple sensor and range configurations allow the analyzer to be tailored for trace, percent or purity carbon dioxide measurement. A large, easy-to-read display and intuitive user interface provide simple setup, calibration and operation. The rugged portable enclosure allows the analyzer to be easily transported between measurement locations, making it ideal for field testing, troubleshooting, verification and applications where a permanently installed analyzer is not required. Integral USB data logging allows measurement data to be recorded directly to a removable USB flash drive. Data is stored in an Excel-compatible .CSV format, with selectable logging intervals from 1 to 120 minutes. The CO2-740 utilizes precision non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor technology for excellent accuracy, stability and sensor life. The sensor is self-contained and requires minimal routine maintenance, with no electrodes to clean or electrolyte to replace. Configurable gas connections are available to accommodate a variety of sampling requirements and provide simple connection to gas cylinders, process lines and external sample systems.
