A genuine antique Imperial Half Gallon clear glass bottle dating from approximately 1895–1915. This attractive utility bottle features embossed “IMPERIAL HALF GALLON” lettering around the lower body, a classic rounded blob-top finish designed for a cork stopper, and decorative ribbing around the shoulder and base. These bottles were commonly used by merchants for storing and dispensing spirits, vinegar, cordials, and other household liquids, making them a wonderful example of everyday Victorian/Edwardian glassware. The bottle is in very good antique condition with no obvious cracks or major chips. It displays the light wear, bubbles and character expected of a glass bottle over 100 years old and makes an excellent decorative piece for a farmhouse, country kitchen, pantry, or antique bottle collection.
