Brighton-based artist Antonia Hazlewood creates immersive abstract works exploring movement, consciousness and the hidden rhythms that shape nature and human experience. In Dynamism, Hazlewood responds to the butterfly effect and the idea that the smallest initial action can unfold into vast and unpredictable consequences over time. Through intuitive layers of mark-making, the composition expands outwards in waves of energy, texture and motion, echoing patterns found throughout the natural world. The circular form references the Tao, or “The Way”, reflecting ideas of flow, impermanence and the constantly changing nature of the universe.
