Culture Veil Hidden Cabinet — Wild Veil A humid, living study of fermentation, floral diffusion, and microbial texture. Released quietly in a limited number of bottles. The Work Culture Veil centers on SCOBY as a perfumery material—not as a process alone, but as a living aromatic body. Over the course of four years, tea cultures were built, fed, and stabilized across multiple tea lineages: oolong pu-erh darjeeling assam Each culture developing its own microbial signature— fruity, acidic, softly animalic, and faintly effervescent. These cultures were then co-tinctured for an additional four years, allowing their aromatics to settle into something continuous and textural. Not sharp fermentation— but a humid, breathing field. Materials SCOBY Culture Matrix Eight-year process (4 year fermentation + 4 year co-tincture) Conditioned across rare tea cultivars including Mi Lan Xiang, Ya Shi Xiang, Tong Tian Xiang, Naka, Mansong, Yiwu, AV2, and wild Assamica. Iron Goddess of Mercy (Tieguanyin) Five-year tincture Porcelain, mineral, and softly floral. Star Jasmine — Wild Veil Estate Five-year tincture Dense white floral, indolic and warm. Soursop — Wild Veil Estate Spontaneous fermentation followed by triple tincture over five years Lactic fruit, green sweetness, and tropical depth. Aroma Not a traditional floral. The jasmine moves through the culture— absorbing humidity, softening into it. Tea and fermentation create a continuous body: humid air warm skin soft acidity faint effervescence The fruit appears not as brightness, but as a low, rounded sweetness within the field. The effect is: alive textural close A perfume that feels less applied and more inhabited. Structure This is a SCOBY-forward composition.
