Michel Delhommeau, 'Clos Armand' Muscadet, 2023

This is a beautiful Muscadet with tension, precision and a breath of fresh sea air. Flint, salt and green apple skin are complimented and underpinned by a rich doughy note from 2 years on the lees. These vines are 70 years old which amps up the power and purity of flavour and carries the long finish. Beautifully fresh, this wine is a prime example of why oysters and Muscadet are a classic pairing. Follow your oysters with some grilled mackerel and open another bottle!
