Kid's Cyanotype Printing Workshop with Zoë Gleitsman (ages 5-12) Date: Sunday, August 2 10am to 12noon Location: Tiny Arts Supply, 612 Woodward Avenue, Ridgewood, Queens 11385 Tickets: Sliding scale available Join local artist Zoë Gleitsman for a hands-on introduction to cyanotype printing, a 180-year-old photographic process that creates striking Prussian blue images using UV light. No experience needed! Kids 5-12 welcome. Parents can hang out / assist. What You'll Do: Learn to coat paper Use plants, transparencies, and found objects Print using sunlight and possible exposure unit Experiment with layering techniques Take home your own unique, frame-ready artwork(s) Optional Prep (you are not required to bring anything, but you can!): Email a black & white photo to TinyArtsSupply@gmail.com by Thursday, July 30th for us to print on a transparency (optional - we will provide things for folks to use) Bring objects you'd like to print (optional - materials also provided) All materials provided.
