Wide Porcelain Bowl
A perfectly formed porcelain bowl thrown on the potter's wheel by ceramicist Adam Frew in the North of Ireland. Adam favours simple forms which he uses as a canvas for spontaneous mark-making, a contrast to the finely thrown porcelain. Sharp lines, crayon scribbles, brush marks, and sponged-back sections reflect the energy and passion Adam invests in his craft. This bowl is a joy to use. Perfectly functional, it is also a piece of art. Our in-store customers always marvel at the craftsmanship of this work. As each bowl is hand-painted, slight variances will occur. We adore the red glaze contrasting with the aqua rim on the base of each bowl. Dimensions: Each bowl measures 17cm in diameter x 8cm deep. Signed on the base with a simple maker's mark of AF.
